My favorite Broncos girl, besides Ali of course :), is once again a Denver Broncos Cheerleader. This will be Stephanie Ellsworth’s second year as a Broncos Cheerleader. Stephanie and her parents were kind enough to give us a couple of tickets to the Denver vs. New England game last year. Stephanie and April humored a couple of old guys with some photos. Of course I’m going to show you the one with me.Â
On a sad note, Renee Herlocker has retired, doh.

Here are the links to some of our race photos. We’re not really tired, they just asked us to act like it. Makes the race look tougher and they get more publicity. :) Last I check Trina’s and Brent’s pics weren’t ready yet but this should be where they are located when they are done.

Ali and I survived Robie!!!! 2:18 and 2:58 were our times. Ali may kick my butt if I say which time is whose. :) Not too bad for a couple of first timers. Brent, Ryan and Trina finished in that order, all just over 2 hours.
Trina was my pace partner all the way to the top of the hill and then decided to ditch me. What a friend huh. I saw Brent and Ryan around mile three and then again at the finish line :(.
I think we are locked in for the race again next year. The band and barbeque at the end of the race was a blast. Ryan and I had another race to the buzz which I think Lenae acutally won. I’ll get a few photos up when we get some copies from the Lunds. Thanks for the after party Terry.
Thank you come again.

Well, the Race to Robie Creek is this morning! Looked out side at about 6:00 am and it was raining, not a good sign. I’ve been whining about a sore calf that I got about a week and a half ago. This is just a strategy I have developed to give me an excuse if I fall down and end up sliding down the hill. For this first race I just hope I finish. I figure if I can make the first 8 miles to the top of the MOUNTAIN I can roll the last 5 to the bottom.
Ali and I have been running for awhile with our friends Ryan, Trina and Brent. They are part of a running club in Boise that we are thinking about joining. Ali has been pretty excited about the race and has been running quite a bit lately. She’ll probably beat me and that will be the end of our racing careers, at least mine :).
Here is a photo from the top of the hill to Robie Creek. I’ll keep you informed on the aftermath of this debacle.
